Winemaker Supper Series

Deer Creek Inn is already well known for its
three course gourmet breakfasts including such items
as Angelic Bananas, Artichoke Oven Omelets, or a
Finnish Pancake. Now, guests of the inn have the
opportunity to experience supper the way only Eileen
can arrange it.
Thanks to our Cordon Bleu trained chef,
Kady Guyton, Deer Creek Inn now
produces a Winemaker Series designed to give our
guests a chance to enjoy the wines of Past suppers have included such pairings as Crab
Stuffed Mushrooms paired with Sierra Starr’s Starr
Bright Champagne, Spinach Salad with Raspberry
Vinagrette paired with Sierra Knoll’s Saravese,
Green Grape Gazapacho with Avanguardia’s Due Fiori
or Bleu Cheese with Peppercorn Steak paired with
Lucchesi’s Zinfandel.
Dessert, always an inn favorite, can have
such selections as Death by Chocolate served with
Sierra Starr’s The Winemaker's Weekend starts on Friday evening
with a Taste of Nevada County, where one of our
local winemakers will pour their wines for us. The
chosen winemaker will talk about the winemaking
processes that are utilized at their respective
winery. Then on Saturday evening we will enjoy our
six course gourmet dinner hosted by yet another
